Sandro Dias Personal History: Sandro Dias got his first skateboard as a Christmas present in 1986, when he was a little kid in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He entered his first competition at age 8, a street skating event, and won 8th place. Sandro Dias continued to skate and regularly beat out full time skaters, while also working for his father at his mineral extracting road supply company. "I never thought of going pro," Sandro told Redbull.com. "Being a professional came as a consequence of having fun!"
