Rune Glifberg Personal History: Rune Glifberg was 11 years old when a good friend visited the US and brought him back a skateboard as a gift. His natural talent was obvious, and Rune skated both street and vert, but loving bowls the most. He won his first pro contest in France in 1990, and turned pro two years later. Rune Glifberg moved from Denmark to Costa Mesa, California after he finished high school in 1995. Rune Glifberg still returns home to visit Denmark 2 or 3 times a year.
Rune Glifberg Interesting Fact: Rune Glifberg has won the most X Games medals, without winning a gold. Rune Glifberg also has what he calls a "small collection of BMWs."
